First Impressions: Galilei Donna

First Impressions: Galileo DonnaGalileo Donna is an interesting anime which is a story about three sisters namely Hozuki, Kazuki and Hazuki, who are descendants of Galileo Galilei. And the first impression I have for it is that it gives me a Disney cartoon feel for some reason and this may be because the protagonists are three sisters living normal lives of their own then being suddenly chased by a mysterious organization who’s looking for something that their great ancestor Galileo discovered.

Somehow, the anime plot is reminiscent of some of Disney’s cartoons like Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet and some more. Honestly, I am not really sure how to express the idea as of the moment but yeah, watching the anime made me feel like I am watching some sort of Disney cartoon.

The artwork on the other hand is decent and acceptable for my personal standards as compared to Aoki Hagane no Perpreggio: Ars Nova. This is not to say that the latter’s artwork is below my taste but then again, I prefer the former’s art style. The anime also reminds of a shoot ‘em up game called Darius because of the fish-shaped spacecrafts. Overall, the anime seems to be cooking something that will pique the interest of audience who enjoy watching adventure-themed anime.

Advise In Keeping Your Computer Safe From Online Threats

Business owners need to be vigilant when it comes to keeping their computer network safe from online threats. Keep the following tips in mind:

Enforce A Policy To Strengthen Passwords: One reason why some hackers are able to easily infiltrate company files and accounts is due to weak passwords. One way to strengthen an account or file’s password is to make sure that the password is alphanumeric and contains at least 8-14 characters. This should also be words that not all people could possibly think so. By encouraging the employees to create alphanumeric passwords they are able to increase computer security.

Limit Employee Surfing Capabilities: Employees might not be happy about it but then again, limiting and filtering the websites that are accessible to them lessens the chances of company information being compromised. The best work around though is to forbid access to websites such as gambling, adult and games because these are the sites that often have online threats lying about.

Collect Information That Is Only Necessary: In order for the security of your client to not be put into compromised in cases of security breaches, make sure that you should only collect relevant information about them. Also, use encryption technology when it comes to setting up passwords. Also using ESET Endpoint Security and similar software can increase your system’s security.

First Impressions: Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova

I just watched the first episode of Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova earlier and I must say that even if it appears to have some harem elements, I enjoyed watching the first episode. Basically, the story is set in the year 2039 wherein humankind was almost exterminated by the Fleet of Fog; sentient warships equipped with far more destructive artillery as compared to their regular counterparts.

First Impressions: Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova

“Yes. This girl is THAT submarine. A Fog ship”

They’re also identified by unusual markings on their exterior but in all appearances, they are battleships that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started a war with mankind. However, after meeting a young girl with silvery hair named Iona, a young man named Chihaya Gunzou suddenly found himself being assigned as the commander of I-401 which is a captured Fog submarine in the mainland. Apparently, she’s the human incarnation of the captured war-submarine who only knows that she was ordered by someone to take orders from the protagonist alone.

First Impressions: Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova

“No. Not this Iona.”

From there on, Chihaya Gunzou, along with some of his classmates man the Fog submarine destroying enemy ships across the seas. The reason why I said that this anime may have harem elements is because later in the episodes, other Fleet of Fog human incarnations are given their own individual screen time and all of them are girls. If you’re also going to watch the ending credits of the first episode, which I feel will be the opening credits of the series is that there are a lot of Fleet of Fog human incarnations with each one of them being girls.

First Impressions: Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova

“Yes. They’re the Fleet of Fog that defeated mankind”

Overall, I can say that the anime is a good watch. If there’s one thing that I didn’t like about it is that the artwork is not that smooth. The shape of the characters’ faces seems sharp rather than smooth as compared to other anime but I guess it’s tolerable. I do however like the idea of unmanned ships with markings. Actually, in a way, the anime is reminiscent of an 80’s anime entitled Space Carrier Blue Noah though it’s more commonly known as “Thundersub”.  This may probably be a factor that’s why I was able to appreciate the anime.

Hopefully, the anime remains promising though I am betting that it’s likely to have just twelve to thirteen episodes like most harem and non-mainstream anime. Either way, Aoki  Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova is still a good watch.

First Impressions: Tokyo Ravens

I just watched the first episode of Tokyo Ravens and I enjoyed it a lot. I’ve been watching the newly uploaded anime like Coppelion, Blazblue: Alter Memory, and Kill La Kill in Otakustreamers and so far, only Blazblue, Kill La Kill and Ravens got me wanting for more. Coppellion’s first episode on the other hand seems dragging but that’s another article.

First Impressions: Tokyo Ravens

What I want to talk about right now is Tokyo Ravens. The story revolves around Tsuchimikado Harutora who’s born into a family of Onmyoji however; he doesn’t have the ability to sense and see spirits. Because of this, he already gave up on the idea of following his predecessors’ footsteps and just wants to enjoy his everyday life with his friends. While enjoying the summer festival with his friends, a mysterious girl with blond and curled hair arrived mistaking the protagonist Tora for Tsuchimikado Natsume, who’s also his cousin and the family successor to the Onmyo Arts. Apparently, this girl, who turns out to be Dairenji Suzuka, one of the twelve divine generals is pursued by the Magical Investigation Bureau, under the suspicion of using forbidden magic.  From there on, Harutora’s life suddenly made a quick turn, not to mention that surprising scene before the first episode ended.

First Impressions: Tokyo Ravens

“THIS”

Right now, I am excited to watch the next episode of Tokyo Ravens and I can say that the anime is promising. The atmosphere is not that heavy as reflected by scenes which include a bit of comedy. I did notice that there are sexually suggestive elements such as Suzuka’s saliva being drawn from the lollipop she was sucking as well as her kissing the protagonist at the end of the episode. This may just be me but anyway, it’s still just the first episode so let’s see if the suggestive theme sticks. Overall, the anime is great so far but then again, I may just be biased because I really enjoy anime of the supernatural genre mixed with technology, similar to Kishin Douji Zenki on the later arc or Tokyo Majin. Not to mention that the anime has my nickname on it.

First Impressions: Tokyo Ravens

“See that thread of…Of flavor?”

If you are someone who enjoys the supernatural genre similar to Kekkaishi, Kishin Douji Zenki or Tokyo Majin then I highly recommend this anime.

“Left to Right: Touji, Harutora and Hokuto having fun at the festival. Yes, even though Touji doesn’t look like it”

How To Pick Drawer Slides For Your Home

There are a number of drawer slides to choose from and it is best that you keep the following in mind if you are planning to get one:

  • Choose one of the two major drawer slides category; side rollers or center-bottom rollers. Side rollers are made out of metal and can create a sliding shelf. On the other hand, center-bottom rollers have a track where your drawer will sit on.
  • Pick the length of extension that you prefer. There are some slides which extend up to the entire length of the slide and there are some that does not. On the other hand, full-extension slides allow the drawer to be opened fully though pulling everything out will cause it to fall. Three-quarters slides though cannot be opened completely as compared to the former.
  • Be particular about the price and make a comparison. Individual drawer slides can cost as low as $5 up to $25. Drawer slide sets however costs $25 to $50 and that is not even picking a branded one. And those that have special functions such as self closing drawer slides may cost more.

These are some of the things that you have to keep in mind before you purchase a drawer slide.
